About Me

Solution-focused coach, trainer and facilitator based in Sheffield UK and working internationally, online and face to face.

I am a solution-focused practitioner and specialise in enabling you as an individual, group or organisation to celebrate your existing skills and qualities to enjoy a clearer, happier mind and achieve profound and lasting change in whichever personal or professional challenge you face. This includes offering skills training to postgraduate students studying social care related qualifications in higher education, delivering coach training, leadership team development, facilitating reflective practice, and providing coaching supervision.

As the founder of Naomi Whitehead Training I am endlessly delighted and cherishing about the fact I get to learn from, and collaborate with, insightful human beings every day.

I am passionate about the transformative power of listening with the deepest quality of attention possible to co-create hopeful new stories and desired change. I have a wide and varied professional background working in the following fields - mental health, counselling, leadership and management, education, drug and alcohol use, housing and homelessness, mindfulness, corporate social responsibility, young people, the criminal justice system, sexual exploitation, feminism, social work, neurodiversity, social justice and national project coordination.

My Qualifications

  • Training as a Solution-Focused Practitioner through IASTI has been central to the ways in which I support people to find strength, clarity and direction, even in the most uncertain or challenging of times. This qualification reflects more than just a method, it’s a mindset that honours what’s already working, builds on people’s own wisdom and helps to unlock meaningful change without the need to dwell on the problem. This qualification continues to shape my work on a day-to-day basis.

  • My EMCC Senior Practitioner accreditation reflects years of deep listening, learning and holding space for people navigating change, uncertainty and transformation. This qualification celebrates the richness of real human experience, meeting people where they are, with presence, care and skill. It recognises my capacity to work with complexity, support inclusive leadership and guide coaching conversations that lead to lasting, values-aligned change.

  • Becoming an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) affirms my commitment to coaching with authenticity, integrity and respect for each person’s unique path. This certification reflects the depth of trust clients place in me, and the deep honour I feel in walking alongside them.

  • This programme has provided my work with a powerful foundation, deepening my ability to support individuals and teams to lead with clarity, courage and compassion. It blends practical tools with reflective learning, enabling real, human-centred change in how people show up at work and in life. It’s shaped how I help others navigate complexity, build confident decision-making and cultivate inclusive, purpose-driven leadership in their own unique way.

  • My academic roots in Sociology and Social Policy have provided me with a way to understand power, inequality, identity and systems of change. This degree shaped my passion for social justice, inclusion and the importance of questioning the status quo. The insights I gained continue to inform the way I listen, coach and hold space for people navigating complex social and organisational landscapes.
